“The Separation is Bringing Multiplication”

“The Separation is Bringing Multiplication”

The Lord spoke to me, saying, “We are entering a time of separation that is necessary to fulfill My promises. Do not be afraid of the separation that is already upon you, for it is essential for what is to come. Many of you are staring at the ashes of dashed dreams, hopes, and visions, feeling as though you have lost everything, but I proclaim that from those very ashes, I will create something beautiful. Your miracles, breakthroughs, deliverance, and provision do not come from what you have lost but rather from what you have left.

Why are your eyes steadfastly looking upon the ashes of your dashed dreams, hopes, and visions? Why do you only see loss? I tell you to see through the lens of My Spirit the beauty that I am creating! Dream again, for it will be from those very ashes; I will create something so beautiful that it will astonish all those who gaze upon it.”

When the Lord shared His message about separation, He gave me a vision of a woman who was clearly pregnant. I then saw her in a hospital room after having just given birth and, where she received her baby into her arms. My initial reaction to this vision was one of confusion. I could not understand how the vision could be tied to the word of separation, loss, and the blessing that would arise from what remained. Then, the Lord made it clear to me that the arrival of a new season demands this very separation, just as the baby was separated from its mother’s womb and had its umbilical cord severed. Not until then could the mother see, experience, and embrace the promise of what she had carried for nine long months. To give birth to a new season, there must first be a separation from the womb, a passage through the birth canal, and ultimately embraced.

In that moment of transition, there was a loss—the woman was no longer pregnant. The familiar kicks and the intense cravings for specific foods would soon be memories. This experience served as a form of pruning, clearing the way for new beginnings. The baby symbolized the promise, while the pregnancy represented the process. Don’t allow yourself to become stuck in the process; instead, have faith that God will bring forth the promise.

Furthermore, God said to me, “Life, fruitfulness, and multiplication come through separation and pruning.” He brought to mind the words of Jesus in the Gospel of John, where He taught about the necessity of being pruned in order to bear fruit.

“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit” (Jon. 15:2 NKJV).

Remember the widow who came to Elisha crying for help. The creditors had come to enslave her two sons to pay her husband’s debt. Elisha asked her, “what do you have in the house? And She said Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil (2Ki. 4:2 NKJV).

She was entirely focused on what she had lost. She told Elisha that her husband was dead and the creditors wanted to take her sons. She believed that her best days were tied to the oil and provisions she once had when her husband was still alive. The enemy loves to try to get us stuck in what was so that we will miss what is next.

I imagine she thought, I never struggled when my husband was alive. We had plenty of oil and provision. Now I have lost everything. What she didn’t understand was that her miracle would come from what she had left. She told the prophet that she had nothing left but a small jar of oil. Don’t discount what you have left. There is nothing that has left your life that is needed for where God is taking you.

3 Then he said, ‘Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels and set aside the full ones” (2Ki. 4:3–4 NKJV).

Notice the prophet gave her three prophetic instructions that were essential for her breakthrough:

1.     “borrow vessels…not just a few.” (You need to raise your level of expectancy!)

2.     “you shall shut the door behind you.” (If you want to walk in this level of the miraculous, you will have to shut the door to naysayers or those who want to remind you of your current circumstances.)

3.     “pour it into all those vessels.” (Take the little you have and begin to scatter it as a seed, and as you pour it out, God will multiply it.)

6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, ‘Bring me another vessel.’ And he said to her, ‘There is not another vessel.’ So, the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, ‘Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest’” (2Ki. 4:6–7 NKJV).

Don’t miss this: God was not finished blessing her by stopping at just the multiplication of her oil. He always goes above and beyond. Through the voice of the prophet, God set her up as an entrepreneur and gave her a business strategy that would not only pay her debt but would become a generational blessing for her and her sons.

Just as God did for this woman, He is doing for you. The separation is bringing forth multiplication. This is the time for you to experience the greatest outpour of God that you have ever known. Your best is not behind you. It is still coming!
