“The Second Wind of the Second Half”

I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me about the month of July. He said, “July is the month when activation and promotion begin! The first half of the year may have had a slow start, but you have entered the second half of the year, and it will be a different story! Momentum is building! Now it will begin! The Spirit of God says, “A new beginning. A new beginning. A new beginning.” I will bring My people forth in newness, and they will finish this year with a bang.”

I would say what He said about July

I found it puzzling that He said to me, “with a bang.” What does that mean? I looked up the definition and found, “The phrase ‘with a bang’ generally means in a very exciting, noticeable, and successful way. It signifies that something begins or ends with a lot of energy, enthusiasm, or a strong impact.”

Many of you began 2025 with a spirit of prayer and fasting, filled with anticipation for what God was doing and the prophetic events that were unfolding. But the cares of life, ongoing struggles, and spiritual warfare have left you feeling deflated and disheartened. The Spirit of the Lord says, “Get ready for a new spiritual stamina to come upon you with a bang. You will NOT go through the last half of this year with the wind knocked out of you and having no signs of life. I will breathe the breath of life into you, and you will arise and possess the promised land! There is a second wind coming with a bang. Your expectation is coming back. Your expectation is being restored. You will once again be filled with zeal.”

Ezekiel was carried out by the Spirit to the valley full of dry, scattered bones. The Bible says, “...they say, our bones are dried, and our hope is lost...” (Ezk.37:11, KJV). You may have arrived at the halfway point of 2025, and your hope is lost, and you are merely surviving with no signs of life, but the Spirit of the Lord says, “Get ready for My breath to enter into you and resurrect your stamina. Your hope is being restored. There is a second wind for the remainder of this year that will catapult you into 2026.”

“So, I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army” (Eze. 37:10, KJV).

Even as Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones, which represent the regathering of Israel, I have been sent to prophesy to you, “The second half of this year will be a regathering of scattered promises, lost hope, and dead dreams. God will not only give a new beginning, but He will restore all that was lost.”

Notice the phrase “and they stood up upon their feet.” Perhaps, you’ve heard the saying, ‘I am going to help them until they get on their feet.’ In the last half of this year, you are going to stand on your feet, for God is going to send His second wind! God is bringing you out of the place of looking for someone to help you to the place where you will look for someone to help! You will no longer be a victim, but instead you will be a victor.  

Just as the Lord activated Joshua after the death of Moses, you, too, are being raised up for this moment.

“Moses, My servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel” (Jos. 1:2, KJV).

This is your “ACTIVATION” season. This is your crossover moment. It is the time when Joshuas’ are activated. You have been called to possess the promises that God has made to you. You have been on the outside looking in long enough. The wind is blowing. The Holy Spirit is breathing new life into you.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Jos. 1:8, KJV).

Get ready to prosper and have good success. You will flourish in the second half of 2025. Take note of the instructions that He gave to Joshua. He first instructed him, “Be strong and courageous.” Then He followed it up by saying, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth.” In other words, God was saying, make sure that your mouth lines up with the Word. You have power in your mouth.

Furthermore, He commanded that they “meditate therein day and night.” The Hebrew word translated “meditate” is “hagah,” which means “to murmur, ponder, speak, roar, study, talk, or utter.”

The Israelites were unable to enter the promised land due to the negative report from the spies. Their discouraging words led them to rebel against God, criticize their leaders, and doubt the land that God had promised them. Remember, your words hold great power. Ensure that your speech aligns with God’s promises. Declare those promises boldly! Like Ezekiel, prophesy to the dead bones of your promises and command them to align with what God has decreed.

Receive the second wind in this second half!
