"God Has Remembered You"
“God Has Remembered You”
I heard the Lord say, “You are entering a month of unprecedented favor. I am the one who never forgets. I have not forgotten My promises to you. In this season, I am remembering you. I have begun to stir the hearts of destiny helpers to locate and favor you. This will be a time of alignment and advancement for you. I am positioning you for promotion. Your name is being called for I have marked you for this moment. Things that have been closed off will suddenly open. Barrenness is breaking off your life. You will be fruitful and multiply because I have remembered you.”
As I sought the Lord for the month of May, He brought to my attention that May is the fifth month on our calendar. The number five symbolizes grace and favor. In a time of deep intercession, I heard Him say to me, “Andrew, I remember you.” As soon as I heard that, I fully understood the depth of His message. It was a confirmation to me that I was hearing correctly.
One of my favorite verses in all the Bible is Genesis 8:1.
“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged” (KJV).
This Scripture does not imply that God forgot about Noah while he was confined in the ark; it was quite the opposite. He saw Noah every second. Rest assured, the Lord has not forgotten about you either. Genesis 8:1 conveyed the profound truth that God moved supernaturally for Noah, just as He is currently moving this month of May for you. Often, we tend to view Noah’s story as a child’s tale. We imagine Noah and the little animals entering two by two, while we fail to realize the complexity of the actions that took place.
We ignore the pungent smells that filled the air day in and day out. Not to mention enduring being tossed about by the violent waters of destruction that floated the massive vessel. On top of that, Noah had to contend with the uncertainty of when and how this ordeal would end. This was far from a leisurely cruise.
Let’s closely examine the Hebrew word “zakar,” translated as “remembered.” It is defined as “properly to mark, as to be recognized, that is, to remember, by implication to mention.” What it means in the case of Noah is that God had marked him! Think about this. What happens when something is marked? It stands out as important. Noah stood out to God above all His creation. Moreover, God has marked you! Just as He had a plan for Noah, He has a plan for you. He is recognizing you with His favor through His covenant promises. You have entered a set time for God to remember you. He is taking action to bring you out of isolation. The Lord says, “You have been hidden for your protection, but now is the time that I remember you and bring you forth. I am calling you to emerge in this hour.”
There will be a significant shift taking place. God is elevating some ministries that have gone unnoticed and have been without a national presence. They have been hidden in the ark of protection. God is bringing forth voices of purity for this pivotal moment. This is a time when God is remembering (moving for) His people.
Once Noah and his family stepped out of the ark, God bestowed a blessing upon them, empowering them with the ability to multiply and thrive.
“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Gen. 9:1, KJV).
What has been lost or stolen will be replenished. I prophesy over you that the month of May will be a time of fruitfulness and multiplication. This month marks an end of barrenness over you. Doors that have been shut will suddenly open. RESOURCES ARE COMING TO THE RIGHTEOUS!
God gave me another example of a time when He remembered. It is found in the life of Rachel. She was barren and unable to have children until the day that God remembered her.
“22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: 24 And she called his name Joseph; and said, The Lord shall add to me another son” (Gen. 30:22–24, KJV).
One of the definitions for the word translated as “reproach” is “the taunt of the enemy.” When God remembered Rachel, the taunt of the enemy was removed. He is doing the same for you. The lies spoken by your adversary are being destroyed by the greatness of the promise God is unfolding in your life. This is your season to flourish.
It is not a coincidence that Mother’s Day is celebrated this month of May, with all that it implies, such as remembrance, giving birth, increase, and blessing. God says, “For just as it is in the natural, so shall it be the spiritual. You shall be remembered, and you shall give birth to supernatural promises. I HAVE REMEMBERED YOU!
