The Anointing for Giant-Sized Breakthroughs

“The Anointing for Giant-Sized Breakthroughs”

I heard the Lord say, “I AM releasing a Davidic anointing upon My people. Do not compare yourself to the size of the giants but compare the giants to the size of your God! Do not fear. Refuse to be intimidated by your circumstances. I AM not intimidated. I AM the God of the impossible. My arm is not too short to save. Get ready to see great deliverances and miraculous victories in this hour. I will not have another Saul. Sauls are being removed from positions because I am no longer with them. My children will not be led into defeat.”

When Saul heard the taunting of Goliath, he succumbed to fear, and the men of Israel trembled in terror. Yet, when David heard the defiant words of the giant, his heart was emboldened with faith. If you, like David and the army of Israel, are surrounded by present circumstances that have mocked God and belittled His power, then hear the prophetic word of the Lord. God says, “The time has come it for you to witness GIANT SIZE victories!”

Once the Lord began to speak to me concerning the Davidic anointing coming upon His Church, I quickly turned in my Bible to 1 Samuel 17 and read the story of David and Goliath. He revealed to me some powerful truths.

First of all, the Lord revealed to me that Saul heard the same taunting of the giant that David did., However, it caused fear to grip his heart, whereas when David heard the same words, his spirit stirred within him and said, “Is there not a cause?” (1Sa. 17:29). He was activated into his purpose. This was a destiny moment for him, and this is a destiny moment for many of you. God had orchestrated this time to bring David onto the battlefield as a deliverer of His people. Your greatest battle will serve as a catalyst for promotion and elevation.

Without hesitation, David approached Saul, volunteering himself to fight the giant. Saul said to David, “You are not able.” Like David, some people may have spoken words of doubt and limitation over you, decreeing that you could not fulfill God's calling on your life. Yet, David responded by recounting his history with God. You, too, have a history with God. The second revelation the Lord showed me was David remembered all his past victories given to Him by God and rehearsed them. You, too, are to remember all the breakthroughs the Lord has given to you! Just as David triumphed over the lion and the bear, without a doubt, the giant you are currently facing will also fall before you.

The third revelation the Lord gave to me was that Satan sought to impede David, so he would not be free to war.Don't be bound by the old wineskin and unproved mantles. Saul armed David with his armor, which represents a type of mantle or covering. It is important to note that Saul’s intentions were likely not pure. He recognized the hand of God upon David, after all David was the one brought to the palace to skillfully play music that would soothe Saul during the times the evil spirit would torment him. Saul was once anointed by God but had lost his anointing through disobedience. Studying Saul's jealous nature, it is easy to conclude that putting his armor on David was a way for him to claim part of the credit for the victory.

Thankfully, David recognized that he could not go with the restrictive mantle (armor) he had not proved. He put it off just as you, too, must cast off every demonic covering and agenda that may be working against you.

The fourth and last revelation the Lord spoke to me was that the victory that God gave David and is giving to you is supernatural. Do not rely on natural ways of deliverance. Just as David fearlessly declared to Goliath, "I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts" (1Sa.17:45). He was not fighting in his own strength, power, or abilities. He was sent on an assignment to defeat the enemies of God and liberate His people. David understood this was not about him. It was for all the Earth to know there is a God in Israel.

“David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine” (1Sa. 17:48). The word hasted means to go swiftly like a charging lion. I heard the Lord say, “No more delay! This is your time to charge your enemy.” It is a fixed fight, and you win! Jesus has already given you the victory. The giant is falling today. David took the stone and hurled it into Goliath’s forehead, and he fell to the ground. David stood upon the Philistine giant, took his sword, and cut off his head. David did not stop at partial victory. He followed through, and this is your time for COMPLETE VICTORY. When the army of Israel saw David's huge victory, they arose and pursued after the Philistines. Get ready! You will be an agent of awakening to those overtaken in the slumber of fear and defeat.

As I read the words, “David ran and stood upon the Philistine and took his sword” (1Sa. 17:51), I heard the Holy Spirit say, “The battle has been intense, but there is a turnaround coming. It is your time.” When David stood on the giant, Goliath became a platform that brought elevation both literally and figuratively. God is preparing to do the same for you. The very weapons that were meant to destroy you will be turned against your adversary. You will cut off the giant’s head! Today marks a pivotal shift in your circumstances. Step out in faith and watch how God moves for you.
